Sleep Reports Overview

Sleep reports display sleep therapy data gathered by a therapy device in either details, summary, or trend report format. The report contents vary depending on the therapy device and the device mode.

Warning: The data provided in reports is only one of several elements to consider when evaluating the effectiveness of the therapy. This data should not be used in the diagnosis of a patient's condition.

Sleep Details Report

The Sleep Details report shows all report components available for a particular device and mode.  The Sleep Details report can contain all the information shown in the Sleep Summary and Sleep Trend reports, both of which are a subset of the information in the Sleep Details report.

Note:  The components contained in the report depend upon the template chosen for the report.  See Manage Patient Templates

A Sleep Details report may contain some of the following components.

This section displays the Hours of Usage graph with the dates displayed along the bottom of the graph located at the bottom of the graph. This graph shows therapy hours per day plotted in the main part of the graph with line graphs depicting average humidifier with last setting, average flex with last setting, and autoSV lines drawn as well.  A Patterns of Use chart is also displayed and shows usage for each day in the report date range.

This section displays long-term trend graphs across the entire report date range. Possible graphs are Hours of Usage, Pressure, Pressure Support, Percent of night in Periodic Breathing, Clear Airway and Obstructed Airway Indices, Hypopnea and RERA Indices, Flow Limitation and Vibratory Snore Indices, Percent of night in large leak, Device Humidification Settings, Tidal Volume and minute Ventilation, Patient breaths, Peak Flow, Leak,  AHI, Ti/Ttot, Reactance, Airway resistance, and Percent flow limited breaths.

Additionally, a therapy mode specific summary and compliance summary showing values across the date range is displayed along with AHI, Vibratory Snore Index, Device Usage, and Mask Fit graphs along the same date range.

The Daily Details section of the report displays the different graphs, but the graphs are displayed per day for the seven most recent days with data within the specified date range.  Possible graphs are Pressure, Sleep Therapy Flags, Apnea Event Flags, Unintentional Leak, Peak Flow, Tidal Volume and Minute Ventilation, Respiratory Rate (Breaths per minute),  Ti/Tot, Reactance, Airway Resistance, and Percent Flow Limited Breaths.

The Accessory section of the Daily Details page may include SpO2 graph, Pulse Rate, tcCO2 graph, SpO2 Range, Pulse Rate Range, tcCO2 Range, SpO2 Summary Statistics, Pulse Rate Summary Statistics, and tcCO2 Summary Statistics.

The summary section displays a compliance summary and therapy mode specific summary table that reflects values across the date range of the report.  The Compliance summary additionally lists the device's current settings.

See Sleep Report Components for detailed information about each item.

Sleep Summary Report

A Sleep Summary report displays summary tables for Compliance, Therapy mode, and Device settings across the specified date range.  It may display Hours of Use, Ventilator statistics, Device humidification settings, Leak and AHI. The date range for both graphs is only listed along the graph at the bottom of the page but applies to all graphs displayed on that page.

See Sleep Report Summary Components for detailed information about each item.

Sleep Trend Report

A Sleep Trend report displays summary tables for Compliance, Therapy mode, and Device prescription settings across the specified date range. It may also display graphs for Hours of Usage, Pressure, Pressure Support, Percent of night in periodic breathing, Clear and Obstructed Airway Indices, Hypopnea and RERA Indices, Flow Limitation and Vibratory Snore Indices, Percent of night in large leak, Tidal Volume and minute Ventilation, Patient breaths, Peak Flow, Leak,  AHI, Ti/Ttot, Reactance, Airway resistance, and Percent flow limit breaths.  Additionally, Ventilator stats and device humidification settings are displayed.

Each graph displays information plotted across the report date range. The date range for the graphs is only listed along the graph at the bottom of the page but applies to all graphs displayed on that page. To the right of each graph, the average of the events across the date range is displayed.

See Sleep Report Components for detailed information for each item.
