Link DreamMapper Account

The DreamMapper logo is displayed on patient records that have a DreamMapper-compatible sleep therapy device assigned in the equipment section. The logo displays a status of "linked" or "not linked." The logo displays on new patient records if a DreamMapper-compatible device was added during the Add Patient workflow.

If the DreamMapper automatic invitation feature is enabled for your organization, DreamMapper link invitations can be sent automatically or manually to patients with a validated email and a valid DreamMapper DSN assigned. See Edit Patient to add an email address to a patient account.

Link invitations will be sent automatically if an invitation has not previously been sent and the "DreamMapper automatic invitations" rule is enabled. This rule can be configured by clicking Administration, then SettingsRules and Reminders, and then Rule sets. The rule can be activated or deactivated by controlling the toggle of that rule under the Patient Engagement tab.

The DreamMapper link invitation includes a PIN and DreamMapper app download instructions. Further instructions for entering the PIN are provided in the DreamMapper User Guide. The PIN can only be used once and is valid for 72 hours or until another PIN is generated.

After a patient accepts the invitation, the "not linked" icon changes to "linked." To unlink a patient, click the Linked button and then click Unlink.

Note: Therapy data in DreamMapper flows from DreamMapper to Care Orchestrator, but prescription updates must be managed through modem or SD card mechanisms (see Manage Prescriptions with Data Card Utilities or Edit Prescription for more information).
