You must have Administrator rights to perform this task.

Reassign Patients Between Locations

The Reassign Patients feature allows Administrators to transfer patients between locations.

To reassign patients:

  1. Click Administration, Settings, and Locations. Click the Reassign Patient Location button .

  2. In the Reassign Patients screen, search and select the internal location(s) to transfer patients from and click Next. To include the location's sub-locations, check the box for Include patients from sub-locations.

  3. Search and select the internal location(s) to transfer patients to and click Next.

  4. Confirm your selections and click Reassign. Patients from selected location(s) are reassigned to new location(s).

Note: This action cannot be undone. In the event of a failure, the action will need customer service intervention to complete.

Note: Reassigned patients between locations are shown in the administrative Activity Log. Click Administration and the Activity Log tab to view reassigned patients.

Note:  Patient reassignment is displayed in the patient's Activity Log and displays the previous location assignment along with the updated location assignment. The status shown is Patient Location Reassignment.
