You must have Administrator rights to perform this task.
This help topic describes functionality that may not be part of the feature set in use at your company.
The Reset Password feature allows Administrators to reset user passwords.
Note: Password management (e.g, password reset) is not available for Single Sign-On enabled organizations.
To reset a user's password:
In the Users section under the Administration tab, enter a user's information and click the Search button.
Note: To find a user, enter a user name, first name, last name, or email. Email must be surrounded by quotations.
Locate the desired User in the Search results and click the Reset Password button for the user.
In the Reset User Password window, a new temporary password has been created.
As needed, click the re-generate button to create a new temporary password.
Note: New temporary passwords cannot be typed into this field.
Click the Save button to reset the user's password.
User Password Has Been Reset message box is displayed, showing the user's Name, Email, Username, and New (temporary) Password.
Note: Make sure to save the Users' temporary password because they will need it to log into Care Orchestrator. Once Users are able to log into the system, Care Orchestrator will prompt them to change this temporary password.
To reset all user passwords:
Note: The reset password option is not available for organizations enabled for single sign on.
In the Users section under the Administration tab, click the Reset All Passwords button.
The Reset all passwords window displays prompting the Administrator to confirm resetting all of the system users.
Click Reset Passwords on next screen to confirm selection. If user has a password, the new password link is emailed. If user doesn't have a password, their password is reset, but no email is sent. A user without an email address on file should contact their administrator for new password. Click Cancel to keep current passwords.
Note: Reset All Passwords ONLY applies to active users. Inactive users with email addresses associated with their accounts WILL NOT have their password reset.
